Our Program

  • We implement a 2 Stage Program to help you get your Commercial Pilot Certificate.

    • Time Building – You will a day and night cross country flight with your CFI in addition to flying on a Long Cross Country of over 250NM straight line distance.
    • Ever been in a Technically Advanced Airplane? – You will learn all the maneuvers necessary to obtain your Commercial Pilot Certificate while flying in our Technically Advanced Airplane. Once you complete learning the maneuvers and your written exam you will be headed for, well you guessed it, another Practical Exam and another FAA Pilot Certificate.

YOU’RE LICENSED! NOW WHAT?

  • It is time to make some money.
  • A Commercial Pilot may fly for hire so long as they abide by the rules and regulations of the FAA

Minimum Requirements

To become a Commercial Pilot you must meet the following minimum qualifications.

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be able to Read, Speak, Write, and Understand the English Language.
  • Have a Private Pilot Certificate, an Instrument Rating is required.
  • Have at least an FAA Class 3 Medical from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), or Basic Med. To operate as a Commercial Pilot an FAA Class 2 Medical is required and some operators require a Class 1 so you are best to try and get a Class 1.
  • Have received and logged all the Ground and Flight Training necessary to pass the Practical Exam as outlined in FAA 61.125, 61.127, and 61.129.
  • Pass an FAA written Exam
  • Pass an FAA Practical Test with a Designated Pilot Examiner
